Pearl DIY Dollar Tree Farmhouse Stand

This stand will look great anywhere in your home and it’s super easy to make. So if you’ve been thinking about getting a Pearl Farmhouse Stand but don’t want to spend the money on one, keep reading!

Farmhouse Style Decor is HOT

Farmhouse Decor is HOT right now, but it can also be super expensive! What is the draw? I don’t know if it is the neutral colors, the chippy style of the furniture, the comfy couches, or the blend of vintage and antiques, but it all adds up to a relaxing feel that makes you feel at home instantly.

This pearl farmhouse stand could cost you anywhere from $20-$50 or more depending on where you purchase one, and this blogger just saved you either $17 or up more if you already have these supplies at home.

If you have to buy the supplies, it will cost you pennies on the dollar if you hit the Dollar Tree.

Crafts Using Dollar Tree Candle Sticks

We have talked about them before from tiered trays to cake stands. You simply can’t beat a fancy riser for a buck that has tons of cool angles and is just the right size. Under wire baskets for an elevated look in the bathroom to hold fun soaps and even wash clothes? I even use them on the jelly jars that I turned into Easter candy jars that I used spray paint on!

I even attended a wedding that put them under Mason Jars to turn them into farmhouse chic wine glasses. I could buy these by the case for my dollar store crafts! They totally blend in for the farmhouse look.

Dollar Tree Farmhouse Stand Plans

In the past I have shared a Dollar Tree Farmhouse Market-style stand that I used in my coffee station – this is a little different. It is fancier and perfect for showcasing that cupcake or seasonal decor like you do on a tiered tray but in a more creative way.

What You Need for your Dollar Tree Farmhouse Decor Pearl Stand

How to make a Dollar Tree Farmhouse Stand:

Here are my step by step instructions for you:

How to make a Pearl DIY Dollar Tree Farmhouse Stand

Start by painting the top and sides of the glass candle holders (the round ones). You could also paint the candle holder. I painted mine at the end. I applied 2 coats of paint, allowing for about 15-20 minutes in between coats for it to fully dry

adding glue

Next, with the E6000 glue, I added some to the candle holder and also some hot glue so that the hot glue would dry instantly and the E6000 will allow for a more secure hold. Simply alternate beads of each kind of glue around the rim.

glueing the glass plates together

Then add some hot glue and E6000 glue to the feet of the candle trays (the round ones) and put their feet together (this way the bottom of both candle trays are facing each other and the top parts should be facing out). This gives you the perfect edge to place those pearls in!

Allow that to dry for a few hours or overnight if possible.

knotting the twine

While that is drying, cut a 24-inch section of jute twine. Tie a double knot at one end, leaving a few inches to tie at the end. String on 42 pearl beads.

stringing the beads

Once all the beads are strung on, tie the two ends together and double knot. This should be a tight fit around the two candle trays/ rounds.

Dollar Tree Farmhouse Stand Variations:

If you want to make a larger stand, you could use the burner covers from Dollar Tree. Glue the pictured sides together before painting. You would also need more of the pearls than just 60. It will give you a whole new look.

If you can’t find the pearls, use wooden beads instead. You will want to paint them like the glass items – or you could leave them natural for the stark difference between the chalk paint and the wood.
