I can guarantee you that this is better than grabbing one of those Mama Cozzi pizzas from the freezer section of your local Aldi stores. Hands down it is better than any frozen pizza!

What is it with Buffalo Chicken that we love?

Well, it’s a combination of a few things. It all starts with the chicken itself- a wonderful cut up white meat that has a tender texture when cooked properly. The rest comes down to how well you season your dish and what toppings you use (or don’t use) on top!

Whether this is a party starter or something you’re cooking up for a weeknight meal, this Aldi Buffalo Chicken Pizza is a dish that will have everyone asking for seconds. So, what are you waiting for? Start cooking!

Aldi Buffalo Chicken Pizza Crust

You have a ton of options here – make it yourself from scratch, make it yourself from a mix or kit, using a store-bought premade crust. We’re a big fan of Aldi’s Stonefire Naan Flatbread for this recipe – it crisps up perfectly in the oven and has a great flavor. It makes for a thin crust buffalo style chicken pizza on the fly.

Can this Aldi Buffalo Chicken Pizza be Grilled?

Yes! If you’re looking to grill this pizza, we recommend a heavy-duty baking sheet that can go on the grill. Place the baking sheet on the grill grates and preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400 degrees). Then, place the flatbread directly on top of the preheated baking sheet and cook for about 12-15 minutes, until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Aldi Buffalo Chicken Pizza Toppings

For this recipe, we’re using a few simple ingredients – cooked Aldi Orange Bag chicken, buffalo sauce, Ranch dressing, and a few blue cheese crumbles. But you could add in any of the following toppings to really kick this pizza up a notch!

– Red onion slices or a few scallions (green onions) sliced thin and added before baking.

– Diced jalapeno peppers for a little extra heat – add these in with the Aldi buffalo chicken mixture before baking your pizza.

– Chopped bacon – this is a great addition if you’re looking to make a heartier pizza.

– Sliced cherry tomatoes for a pop of juicy flavor and color.

How to Cook Aldi Orange Bag Chicken

What is nice about the orange bag chicken is that it is fully cooked. You don’t really need to cook this chicken, just reheat it. Aldi fans have several different options for that:

Aldi Orange Bag Chicken Microwave Instructions:

Just put a few buffalo-style chicken strips on a microwave-safe plate, cover them with a damp paper towel, and cook on high heat for about 30 seconds per strip. If you like your crispy breading, I would skip this option as I find it gets a little soft.

Aldi Orange Bag Chicken Oven Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Place the pieces of chicken on a baking sheet and then bake for 18-20 minutes, until they are fully heated through.

Aldi Orange Bag Chicken Air Fryer Instructions:

Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees. Place the chicken in a single layer and cook for about 13 minutes, until hot. Be sure to check on it periodically as all air fryers are different! We have this one and love it!
