
Succulent Instant Pot Mongolian Beef

You will need:
2 lbs top sirloin (cut into 1/4″ strips, pounded thin )
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
3 Tbsp garlic minced
1/2 C water
2/3 C dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
2 Tbsp cornstarch
3 Tbsp water
3 green onions (sliced into 1-inch pieces)
Rice Noodles
Directions:
Season the sirloin with salt and pepper.
Pour oil into the cooking pot, select browning.
When oil begins to sizzle (brown small batches of meat until all meat is browned)
Remove the meat from the cooking pot to a plate when browned.

Next, add garlic to the pot. Sauté 1 minute.
Now slowly add the soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and ginger.
Stir all the ingredients to combine.
Carefully add the browned beef and any juices from the meat.
Select High Pressure.
Set timer for 12 minutes.
Turn the cooking pot off.
In a bowl add the cornstarch and 3 tbsp water together (whisking until smooth)
Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the cooking pot. (stir constantly)
Put on simmer bringing to a boil.
Stir constantly until sauce thickens.
Add the green onions. (stir well)
Add rice noodles as a garnish.
