Sometimes, you need a meal that is not only easy to make, but something you can look forward to at the end of a long day. This is a double win – a crock pot recipe and a crowd pleaser! This time I made it in a plain ol’ pot instead of the crock pot because it was a last-minute menu switch up.

Crock Pot Taco Soup

  • 1 lb Hamburger, browned
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 can corn (do not drain)
  • 1 can kidney beans (do not drain)
  • (3) 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 packet ranch dressing

For serving:

  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 cup sour cream

Brown the hamburger and onion together in a skillet.

Place it, and all the other ingredients in the crock pot. Cook on low for 4 – 6 hours. Top with the cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips.
