This was another fun recipe I tried using the Kid-Tastic Wildtree Bundle of seasonings – Not So Sloppy Sliders!

I did make it a tad different than their version — I didn’t make it into patties, but actually made it like a chopped burger/sloppy joe…and topped it off with slices of sharp cheddar cheese. Yum!

You will need:

  • 1½ lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 3 Tbsp Wildtree Sloppy Joe Blend
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp tomato paste

Combine all items in your skillet and cook until the burger is no longer pink. Spoon mix into slider buns and top with cheese. You know it — rip into it like a monkey on a cupcake, even better if you serve it with sweet potato fries!

Sloppy Joe sliders are a fun and delicious twist on the classic sandwich. These mini versions are perfect for parties, game day snacks or even a quick weeknight dinner. With their flavorful meat mixture and soft buns, these sliders will have everyone coming back for seconds (or thirds!).

Total Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 3 tbsp Wildtree Sloppy Joe Blend
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

Combine all items in your skillet and cook until the burger is no longer pink.
