As it happened, I was given a chance to review the Chef’s Choice indoor grill. This unit became the perfect method of making delicious and moist grilled country style ribs indoors! Grilled Country Style Ribs with Homemade Sauce
This recipe works on any grill, but we will be using it for our Chef’s Choice Indoor Grill from now on. Why? Because it is so easy to manage, and I can cook on this any time of year. It is especially handy when I have other work to do, and I don’t want to run in and out to grill something. I can be in my kitchen cooking while also working or even helping with homework or such. It is so convenient!

I prefer making a simple homemade barbecue sauce since I prefer that over the chemical-laden store-bought varieties. It takes only a few minutes and ingredients I already have on hand in my pantry!

Ingredients:
2 pounds country style pork ribs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 cup onion, minced
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients except pork ribs.
Add in pork ribs and coat on all sides. Cover and let marinade for 1 hour to overnight.
When time to cook, get your Chef’s Choice grill ready by filling the drip pan with approximately 2 1/2-3 cups of water. You must fill to the minimum and no higher than the maximum. You will have already placed the metal grill plate on top of the unit.

Slide the drip pan into place, and turn on your Chef’s Choice grill. Set to the 7-8 setting (you can lower if you prefer to cook slower). Wait for the green light on the side to come on.

Once the green light is on, your grill plate will be heated and ready for you to place the pork ribs. Arrange on the grill as desired.

Cook on each side for 7 minutes, then turn and baste with extra sauce and cook for additional 7-10 minutes. Depending on the thickness of the ribs, you may need to adjust the cooking time or turn again for an additional 4-5 minutes on each side. I recommend using a meat thermometer to make sure they are fully cooked and safe to eat.

As you can see, this recipe is super easy to create, but mostly, the Chef’s Choice Indoor Grill is a great option for your kitchen. It is simple to assemble and use, plus comes apart for fast and easy cleaning. A perfect addition to your kitchen for easy year round grilling!
