Dry Rub Ribs Made in the Instant Pot

Instant Pot Dry Rub Ribs
To make your Dry Rub Ribs
- 1 rack of baby back pork ribs
- 1/4 C brown sugar (packed)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 C Chicken broth
- Remove the lining from the bottom side of the ribs.
- Combine the brown sugar, Dried Oregano, White pepper, paprika, salt, Thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, and cayenne pepper in a small dish.
- Stir to mix all of the seasonings together.
- Rub this all over the ribs.(both sides)
- Put the metal rack in your pressure cooker.
- Carefully place your seasoned ribs inside the pot.
- Stand the ribs on their side.
- Carefully fitting the ribs around the inside of the pot.
- Next carefully pour in chicken broth
- Keep the liquid away from the ribs not to remove any of the seasonings on the ribs.
- Secure the lid, ensure the vent is closed.
- Press the Meat button, setting for 25 minutes.
- Allowing the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes.
- Next quick release the all of the way.
- Carefully remove the ribs from the pressure cooker.
- Transfer the ribs to a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet under the broiler( on high) for 5 minutes. (Check often so they don’t burn)

Our Dry Rub Ribs Made in the Instant Pot were just the ticket to make a smile come to our faces. I am sure you will love these too – they fall off of the bone, melt in your mouth and are so darned tasty that you can serve them with a simple side like corn on the cob or a tossed salad.
