Pokemon Go has become one of the biggest phenomenons all across the world, I mean there is millions upon millions of people playing this game.Pokemon Go is being played by so many people because Pokemon is something that has been for fun and has span across multiple generations. People in their 20’s remember the game as something that they loved when they were young children and kids today are still loving the game and show themselves. I know what you’re probably thinking, great another game to take over the world and just have kids consume their lives with their phones. This may be true but there are also a few really great benefits to playing Pokemon Go. Today I am going to be talking about what those benefits are and why playing Pokemon Go just may not be as bad as you might think.

-Common Love: As I said Pokemon has a wide spread love among people of all ages. If you were someone that loved Pokemon back in the day when it first came around and now maybe you have kids that are wanting to play and get into the game as well, this is a great way for you both to spend time together and have a common love of something. You can play Pokemon Go together and have something to bond over.

-Get Active: Pokemon Go requires you to get out and get active, which I think is great. In the game you can catch eggs that you can place in an incubator and hatch. In order to hatch your eggs, you must walk a certain distance in order to get them to hatch. In addition to this you also have to get out and get active in order to catch Pokemon of course! Pokemon don’t just come to you as you sit in your bed and lay around, you have to get out into the world and find them. This is great because it allows children to become more active while enjoying themselves playing their game.

-Make Friends: Pokemon Go has also brought about a community of people that love the game. Since there are millions and millions of people playing the game, it’s easy to find others that are playing the game. Obviously everyone should be mindful of who they approach and who they talk to but Pokemon Go is a great way to make friends. Gather a group of your friends and you can all head out to search for your favorite Pokemon together. This will keep you all much safer and also allow you to have fun hanging out with your friends at the same time.

Pokemon Go is honestly a really great game. I have played the game myself and I can promise you that it is truly addicting. Although it does keep you glued to your phone quite a bit, it also is a great way to hang out with friends and get some physical activity in for the day as well. If you were thinking about downloading the game that has taken over the world, I would really recommend it. It’s a fun game that can bring a lot of good. Of course be sure to be as safe as you can obviously staying out restricted areas and staying away from strangers when you play but overall it is a great game!
