I had no idea how many uses there are for apple cider vinegar! I wanted to share some surprising uses for apple cider vinegar, so if you have some in your pantry you can utilize it! From mixing in your drink, using for your hair and everything in between, apple cider vinegar is an amazing multi-purpose household product you will want to keep  stock of!

Eczema: Who knew that dabbing apple cider vinegar on eczema can clear it up. You can dab a little each morning or evening on your troubled area to help clear up your eczema!

Wart Remover: Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and put on top of the wart. Wrap in electrical tape and repeat this each day until your wart is gone!

Sunburn: Soak a washcloth in apple cider vinegar and apply to the sunburn. Sometimes I lay the cloth on top of my burn and let it set for a few minutes. Repeat twice a day, it really helps calm the sunburn down!

Soften Clothes in Washer: You can use this in your washing machine to help soften your clothes. Just add 3/4 cups to each load of laundry. Now if it is a light load I would use 1/2 cup.

Clean Humidifier: Just remove your filter and rinse with water. Then add in your apple cider vinegar and let sit for 30 minutes. Depending on the size of your humidifier will depend how much apple cider vinegar you need. After you let it soak, then rinse and allow to dry before your next use.

Weed Killer: Here is a different use, just pour some of the apple cider vinegar directly onto the weeds and it will kill them. This does work best on a nice sunny day, it helps kill the weed faster. Just pour enough to get the weed wet.

Weight Loss: They say if you mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water it can help you lose weight. You can do this one time a day.

Dandruff Relief: If you have dandruff you can add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to your shampoo and use it in the shower. I put a little shampoo in a dish, mix the cider vinegar and then use that for my hair.

Sore Throat: Mix hot water, 2 tbsps cider vinegar, 2 tbsps honey, to help relieve a sore throat. I do 8 oz of water but you can do a little more if you want.

Fever Blisters: Just apply directly to your fever blisters and it will help make it disappear and relieve the pain! You can do this multiple times a day!

So those are my different ways you can use apple cider vinegar! Do you have a favorite way you use apple cider vinegar that wasn’t listed above?

    • Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is one of nature’s most powerful ingredients that offer health as well as beauty benefits. Though it may be new for many people, its use can be traced back to 400 BC. Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, used natural ACV to treat many of his patients.

ACV is rich in acetic, citric and malic acids as well as vitamins, enzymes, mineral salts and amino acids. As an antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antifungal agent, it helps treat the common cold, muscle pain, arthritis pain, diabetes, high cholesterol and weight issues.

This all-natural, all-purpose kitchen staple is also becoming a preferred beauty ingredient.
