Instant Pot Spiced Honey Pecan Butter

Spiced Honey Pecan Butter might seem like a strange thing, until you actually try it! I LOVE this on pancakes instad of plain pancake syrup – it turns even pancakes from a boxed mix into a gourmet treat! Add in the fact that you make it in the Instant Pot? This becomes a treat that you can’t help but indulge in!

 

Instant Pot Spiced Honey Pecan Butter

Instant Pot Spiced Honey Pecan Butter

meal plan month one
You will need:
4 C pecan halves
2/3 C pure Maple syrup
1/2 C water (room temp)
1/2 TBSP vanilla
1/2 TBSP cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
 
 
Directions:
Turn the Instant Pot onto saute.
Add the pecans, syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Saute the ingredients until your pecans are tender. (5-10 minutes)
Stir consistently.
 
Turn the Instant Pot off when the pecans are tender.
Add the water and select manual high pressure while setting the timer for 10 minutes.
Perform a quick release on your Instant Pot when the timer goes off.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 
 
Spread the pecans on the baking pan in a single layer.
Allow the pecans to cool.
 
Butter Ingredients:
1/4 C of prepared candied nuts
1 C unsalted butter (room temp)
1/3 C honey
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
 
Directions:
In a medium size bowl mix the butter, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
Continue to mix until it is completely blended.
Mince your pecans and add to a ziploc bag.
Using a rolling pin crush your pecans.
Add the pecans.
Stir well.
Serve at room temp.

Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 cup pecan halves

  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Butter Ingredients
