What is a Pazookie? Pazookie is an old Latin term for the best dessert in the world. It combines the two words: pizza and cookie together to describe its characteristics. SOme people may be used to calling it a Pizookie, it really depends on your heritage or background.

We took this goodness and created a slow cooker version that lets you whip up this gooey chocolatey goodness in under three hours, and pretty much hands free. It uses very few ingredients and leaves your house smelling decadent.

OK, this it not healthy. At all! But it IS yummy and super easy to make – great for those short notice times when you need something fairly impressive and it only takes 3 ingredients (4 if you count ice cream).
The trick to eating something like this – is to employ moderation. We aren’t going to make a dish like this every night, but when you do make it? Be guilt -free and enjoy every bite! Focus on intuitive eating like we talk about over on Gastric Bypass Gal.
Before we get started, if you have ever had a slow cooker disaster that you needed to clean? We have found the solution for you! This 2-Ingredient solution will work wonders – just check out this quick video.
I know, I know – we could spray the slow cooker before putting the food in. That spray can occasionally change the flavor of a recipe a bit, with a hint of bitter taste. I am also not a huge fan of aerosols.
We could butter the bottom of the crock – but that might burn or add a serious stick-to-the-pan element that we don’t want.
There are those slow cooker liners! I will uses these for pasta bakes, baked french toast casseroles, and the like, but not a fan of slow cooker liners for desserts, especially like this.
For this recipe, I DO spray the crock as there is butter in the crust. That will eliminate the bitter flavor and help keep it from sticking.
Crock Pot Pazookie
- 1 box regular Oreos
- 1 Pillsbury chocolate chip cookies
- 3 T butter
Directions:
In a food processor blend 1 and 1/2 rows of Oreo cookies.

Then add in 3 T melted butter. The cookie crumble should hold together when you pick it up and squish in your hand as the butter and cream centers of the Oreos become the “glue” to hold your crust together. Spread and press this Oreo mixture to the bottom of a sprayed Crock Pot or slow cooker. This would even work in your Instant Pot.
Now let’s look at that cookie dough.

Break it apart and place pieces of the cookie dough over the Oreo mixture so that it completely covers it.

Cover and slow cook on low for 2.5 hours and then let it set a little bit. It’ll look gooey in the middle but as it rests it will harden slightly.

This is where the real fun begins! We dish it up and top it before serving. Put some of this amazing yumminess on a plate.

It’s time to grab the ice cream and chocolate fudge sauce.

Personally? I skip the fudge sauce as the warm gooey cookie is enough for me when the vanilla ice cream is added. Just look at it – and no drooling on your tech!
