Holiday Grinch Fruit Punch

I LOVE all things about the holidays, including family time in front of the television and watching the cartoon holiday classics that I grew up with. To this day, I am still debating which version of the Grinch I like better: the animated classic or the remake with Jim Carey. Jim really did an amazing job jumping into the role and pretty much stole the entire show, LOL!

So, here is a fun punch to watch either version — a non alcoholic treat for the entire family!

The Grinch Fruit Punch
2 13oz packets Unsweetened Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid
2 Cups Sugar
1 12oz Can Pineapple Juice
1/2 liter of Ginger ale
Ice
Red Sanding Sugar
Simple syrup

Directions:
Add simple syrup to a plate, set to the side.
Add red sanding sugar to a plate
Then roll rim of the glasses in the simple syrup then into the red sanding sugar
Set glasses aside
Fill your glasses with ice
Pour 2 quarts of water in a 1 gallon pitcher.
Add the Kool-aid mix and sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the pineapple juice and stir well.
Just before serving, add the Ginger ale and ice.
Serve your Grinch Fruit Punch and snuggle together to enjoy the holiday fun!

Ingredients

  • 2 - 13 oz packets unsweetened Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 - 12 oz can Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 liter Ginger ale
  • Ice
  • Red Sanding Sugar
  • Simple syrup

Instructions

  1. Add simple syrup to a plate, set to the side.
  2. Add red sanding sugar to a plate.
