Mama’s Lasagna
Ingredients:

- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 16 oz ricotta cheese…you can add cottage cheese if you wish
- 2 quarts pasta sauce (I use home-made that I canned)
- lasagna noodles (package or home-made)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Start by cooking your Italian sausage

Place 1/3 of your sauce in a 9 x 13 baking pan…
Take your noodles, “frost” them with the ricotta cheese and lay on the sauce. Then, sprinkle them with the grated mozzarella.

Top with some cooked Italian sausage.

Repeat until you have 3 complete layers done. Top with the last of the sauce and sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake at 350 for one hour…..then rip into it like a monkey on a cupcake!
