Are you looking for a way to make money off clothes that you no longer wear? Fortunately, there are a number of ways you can make money off of your old clothes. All you need to do is learn what they are, see the ones that work best for you, and then start sorting through those clothes. If you don’t sell them outright, you can also trade them toward clothes that fit, or other items you need, which still saves you money in the long run.
Here are some ideas on how to sell or trade in clothing you’ve outgrown:
- Sell old clothes on eBay. The auction website is a great way to sell old clothes, especially if you’re looking to get rid of designer brands or large lots of clothing.
- Host a yard sale. Having a yard sale is a great way to get rid of some of your old clothing. You may want to consider selling some other items you no longer use while you’re at it.
- Visit a clothing exchange. Take your clothes to a clothing exchange store, such as Plato’s Closet. You’ll trade in your clothing. Most clothing exchanges only offer you in-store credits, so you can find new clothes. However, some clothing exchanges do offer cash in return for clothes.
These are just a few ways you can sell or trade in clothing you’ve outgrown or no longer wear! While you likely won’t make a ton of extra money from your old clothes, you can easily earn some extra cash.
