How to Make Mermaid Jello Shots
What kind of booze?
There are so many things to consider when whipping up a batch of Jello shots! Like: What is the best alcohol to use for Jello shots? Hands down I would answer vodka. Usually, I would say that you want to grab a $12 bottle of Absolut or Smirnoff will work just fine. Don’t pick a bottom shelf big plastic bottle. The vodka flavor will come through in the shots and you want a vodka that’s smoother. For these shots though? I picked something more tropical and beachey – coconut rum! I can just see the mermaid now, on a rock by the shore, singing a song to the sailors.
What happens if you put too much booze in Jello shots?
Ratios vary, but if you put too much alcohol into your Jello Shot then it won’t set. You really want to follow a tried and true recipes.
How do you keep them from sticking?
