Sorry everyone! I linked to a website that now seems to be gone – I have NO idea where to get this pattern for FREE. If you find it, or one close, please share
🙂
Now, don’t panic!
To try and help you, we have put together a list of great stuff to help you count down to the big event.
- There will be 31 different crafts that you still have time to make, for gifts, in October.
- There will be 30 different cookie recipes, that you can gather ingredients to bake, off in November.
- There will be 24 different things you can add to your family holiday traditions in December – to help keep the Christ in Christmas.
Let’s get started with those crafts!
I found this gem on Pinterest…just one problem, the maker is on Etsy and sells the pattern. There is a discontinued pattern for this but it sells for over $100 on Ebay. I know Chickens are HOT right now — so after a lot of searching, I found a pattern HERE. Just skip the “Welcome” part and, when attaching the two forms, add a shell stitch around the upper body, so it will look like the picture above, which is so much cuter.
🙂
What do you need?
- The pattern
- Yarn
- G Crochet hook
You can see the instructions and details HERE.
Happy Crafting!

I have been looking for some cute chicken potholder patterns so I don’t have to just make squares or circles. Thank you.
Love these adorable chooks and am making my first one for an Easter present. But how do I make the wattle (that little red thing) under the beak? There is no mention of it in the pattern that’s provided. Can anyone help with this?
thank you so very much for the pattern.

I thought it was adorable too! The site that I had found it at (almost 10 years ago) seems to be gone now, sorry! It is NOT my own creation but one I had found after an hour of searching.
Would love this pattern
So would I (sigh) she seems to have taken down her site. Sorry – this was a 10 year old post and her site must have just recently gone inactive.
Would love to crochet this pattern but there’s no pattern or instructions 😞
It wasn’t my pattern – I linked to the site that I found it on. Sadly, her site seems to be gone as of the last month. 🙁
